Oregon continues to be a destination for creative media producers from around the world. From Emmy winning television productions, to Oscar nominated feature films; world class animation to award winning interactive games, Oregon has become a brand unto itself.

Here is a review of productions in 2018, some that are here to stay and others that have just kicked off and are gaining success. These include the new series like Hulu’s “Shrill”, Netflix’s “Trinkets”, Warner Horizons “Pretty Little Liars” spinoff  “The Perfectionists” set to air later this year and Disney’s “Timmy Failure” adapted from a best selling children’s book series.

Watch the feature film “Leave No Trace” on Amazon Prime starring Ben Foster and Thomasin McKenzie, who play a father and daughter living off the grid in a public park in Portland.

Funny Men Bill Hader, Seth Meyers, and Fred Armisen, creators of IFC Original Series “Documentary Now!” is set to air their third season this February. Funny or Die’s “American Vandal” and “The OA” both reached their second season here in Oregon.

Laika the famous animation studio that brought you Coraline has a new feature coming soon called “Missing Link” starring the voices of Hugh Jackman, Zoe Saldana and Zach Galfianakis.

We’re most excited to hear that production of Guillermo Del Toro’s dark version of the classic tale of “Pinocchio” has begun here in Portland.
