Halloween is slowly creeping around the bend and many horror fans are looking for a fun way to celebrate the season. Whether you’re a makeup novice, budding artist, or Halloween fanatic, The Art of Makeup is offering 2 fun and distinctly different makeup workshops to feed your horror hungry souls.
Halloween Horror Makeup Workshop
The Halloween Horror Makeup Workshop offers a variety of creepy, spooky looks with face painting and 2-dimensional techniques. You’ll get hands-on practice with inexpensive materials that you can recreate for Halloween. We’ll be creating super scary looks with the use of highlights, shadows and color. We’ll be creating a living broken doll look, a mad joker, a variety of other Halloween makeup tricks, inspiration and ideas, and also discuss costuming ideas.
Zombie Night! Makeup After Dark Workshop
Zombie Night! Makeup After Dark Workshop is all zombies all the time! We’re talking rotting, chunky, bloody falling flesh, popping eyeballs, and rotten teeth! You’ll be creating two gory zombie looks using 3-dimensional makeup applications. The first look will be a voodoo zombie witch with photographs in studio. The second look will be Walking Dead-inspired zombies and a night shoot in the nearby creepy woods. Rain or moon shine, so bring an umbrella if needed. Materials include latex, gelatin, fake blood, fake eyeballs, home recipes, and more! *fake blood will stain clothing*
Bring to life the horrors that haunt your dreams! Create your favorite horror flick star!
